Brett Veach won the game.
Yep, I’d also add that this game showed EXACTLY why you don’t invest as much into Tyreek as we did into the multiple FAs that we added such that by the time we lost 3 WRs and still needed to win the game, we had one of them left to still make plays.
With very very few exceptions, several quality guys are going to make a better team than one superstar and scrubs. I know this isn’t the re-sign Jones thread, but Veach’s future decision on him is another major test. [Reply]

Really? He played very well overall, especially with the fact that Cincinnati has the best WR combo in the league and the 2nd best QB. I guess some are never happy. [Reply]
Finding NFL ready players who can come in and contribute from day one on these 4-5 year rookie deals is how you build a dynasty. It's really not supposed to be as easy as Veach is making it look.
Oh, we've got a hole at RG? 6th rounder will get you 4 years of great guard play for pennies.
Need cornerback depth? Sure, we'll get a lockdown #1 late in the first and two guys in the 4th and 7th who will come out and play like seasoned vets in an AFC Title game, and you can have them all for next to nothing salary wise for the next 4 years.
Just lost the best WR in football? Whatever, **** you. We'll throw Marcus Kemp out there and Pat will still throw for 330 yards.
Sometimes it's still just hard to believe. I still find myself sometimes waiting for the other shoe to drop, but instead we just keep getting more pairs of shoes. :-) [Reply]
