Nzoner's Game Room>Is CEH a JAG?
lewdog 06:47 AM 09-20-2021
Is Clyde just another guy?

I’m writing a dissertation on this.

Thanks.

You were one of the people that took that post seriously :-).

Anyways, why do you keep mentioning him being 10th in ypc then?

Watch the game and watch his carries. When all he had to do was run straight, he was good. When he had to make a decision, he wasn't. Its been that way with CEH, he's not the best at finding and/or cutting into the hole.

Btw, I think you should check my post history on Williams if you think that I think he's even a JAG. From the second he was signed I couldn't understand his usage.

Part of the problem is they dont run scripted plays except initial drive and Pat won't take the wide open check down for easy yards on early downs. It may be a tough conversation with Mahomes to give him less freedom in the offense but it needs to be done.

He must be a JAG. If he wasn't then Andy would give him the ball. He gave Williams the ball but Clyde he ignores.

But yet you're here going back and forth with me. Weird. Must be bored.

I'm just repeatedly calling you an idiot. I'm not taking you seriously.

CEH still didn't do anything Williams can't do. CEH left yards on the field today, ran right into his Olinemen again. His best runs were right up middle where he didn't need any vision, he just got as low as possible and charged ahead.

That's a bold strategy cotton. Hope it works out for you.

CEH was a first round pick and Darrell was an udfa. Big difference. If CEH was a fourth or fifth round pick people wouldn’t complain as much.

Hard to argue with most of that, but I wouldn't "take" authority from him... just keep pounding it home that its often the best decision

I think you underestimate the vision and patience needed on interior runs. Just because it didn't look like there wasn't any doesn't mean it wasn't there. CEB is the best back on this roster and its not particularly close but DW serves his purpose on short yardage situations...where Id argue that vision/reading blocks is LESS important and relying on sheer power is more applicable.
