Nzoner's Game Room>****OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread****
KC_Connection 10:11 AM 08-28-2020
Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway.

Lillard is a throwback NBA player. I’d love to see him win one before he retires, but he needs a true 1B.

Fucking douchebags Covington and McCollum doing everything they can to rob Lillard.

Finally when Lillard was forced to pass the ball, the worst case scenario didn’t happen. Shouldn’t have taken this long to pick up the win.

Also needs a team that plays defense.

He’s actually a good defender himself IMO when he cares to be. They’ve got nothing else in that regard, though.

Lillard needs a true other star, McCollum not getting it done. Shame to have one of the best players struggling to do it all by himself and coming up just short.

I’d love to see him paired with a guy like Embiid or Giannis.

He’ll have to leave Portland to make that happen. Not sure he’s prepared to do that.

LeBron will be on the bench for most of the 2nd half and rightfully so.
Lebron was bad and did his damage when there was a a 30pt deficit. Supporting cast is a joke

In no world is 24-5-7 with six threes in three quarters of basketball bad. The bigger issue might be the fact that the rest of the Lakers were and are awful.

That’s nothing new, of course, but their shittiness gets more glaring when you’re missing a top 5 player in the league. If AD doesn’t play game 6, the Lakers will lose the game and the series and there’s not a thing LeBron is going to be able to do about it.
