Nzoner's Game Room>Health watch: Tyreek, Travis, Darrell, Byron & Clyde
Dante84 06:29 PM 01-08-2022
Need the boys to get right.

Bye would help a ton.

As of Friday, 1/14: Clyde out, everyone else should be active, although Darrel is listed as "Questionable."

He's got really good vision.

We don't need a single 50 yard run to make the run game successful. We need someone who can consistently get enough yards to get a first down and keep drives going. That guy is Clyde. Darrel is complete ass at short yardage situations. Gore isn't getting a chance. McKinnon is laughable. Burton should get the ball on every 3rd and 4th down and less than 2.

Clyde averaged 3.5 YPC in December.

He might be our worst back.

Came here to check on injury updates, now I’m gonna cut back out of it.

I don't look at it as individual players.

This team has been much better since they adopted a RRBC approach. I know that sounds crazy but this team is much better platooning than trying to feed CEH the ball.

If he can come back and get 8-10 touches, I'm fine with that. But I want to see Gore, Williams, and even McKinnon in the right situations.

Our backs are so average across the board it's better if they're running fresh.

As we all know, the pre-game warmups are the most dangerous time

And being used in the right situational packages. They all have a niche.

When none of your RBs are particularly good, it makes as much sense as anything to just keep rolling out fresh ones.

I think they do have slightly different skill sets and so some situational rotations make sense. But weirdly, the only guy I think I'd give 70% percent of the reps to is Jerrick McKinnon. And if the Chiefs don't trust him, that's understandable. So go ahead and roll the RBBC.

You can't trust that shrimp in pass protection.

I'll take a formation of Gore and McKinnon flanking Mahomes in shotgun on 3rd and 4 or longer. Just have one of them chip TJ Watt fergawdssake.
