The rollout of this NeW vArIaNt!!!! feels completely stiff and scripted. It feels like a completely poorly written screenplay. I practically expect them to try to rebrand it Covid-21 at any moment now.

This show needs new writers.

Read up on aerosols and join us in 2021. It's almost 2022.

a susceptible individual can inhale microscopic particles and aerosol evaporated from the remaining solid components of the respiratory aerosol, which are droplets tiny enough (<5 μm) to stay airborne for hours

Leftists open their mouths and lies come flying out. Science has known for years that masks don't prevent passing on respiratory diseases. Only since COVID was invented did we find new studies suggesting that they do anything at all. Prior to that, you won't find a single study that supports their use as prophylactic.

Surely even you aren't trying to claim that SARS-CoV-2 is only transmitted via aerosols.

And, it's nice to see you admit that aerosols are dried up/evaporated respiratory droplets, which can be stopped by masks.

Destroyed your own argument. Nice.

:-)

Alright, so you're arguing that Covid is initially riding microdroplets, which then evaporate, allowing Covid-19 to fly on its own?

Am I summarizing your argument effectively?

National Academy of Sciences 2020.

Data do not back cloth masks to limit COVID-19, experts say

Limited, indirect evidence from lab studies suggests that homemade fabric masks may capture large respiratory droplets, but there is no evidence they impede the transmission of aerosols implicated in the spread of COVID-19, according to a paper published yesterday by the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

In the paper, the National Academies' Standing Committee on Emerging Infectious Diseases and 21st Century Health Threats said that, because no studies have been done on the effectiveness of cloth masks in preventing transmission of coronavirus to others, it is impossible to assess their benefits, if any.

The paper was prepared by committee members Richard Besser, MD, of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Baruch Fischhoff, PhD, of Carnegie Mellon University, and two subject matter experts contributed. It was approved by Committee Chair Harvey Fineberg, MD, PhD, and was peer-reviewed by seven additional US experts.

On the contrary.

The thing that COVID taught me the most is that leftists are bad actors who can't be trusted in a civil society. I already knew that, but having the confirmation of it has been quite startling over the last couple of years.

Is it just these people have a complete lack of understanding?

Common sense would dictate it is much harder to transmit airborne / aerosol , since there are practically no instances of confirmed outdoor spread . Its mainly spread by people indoors who are in close proximity for 15+ minutes.

Alright, so to be clear, can I use 2020 research or not?
