I’m fine with the draft pick compensation. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see us move back into the second round from one of their picks in the first to stockpile another pick in the late third or early fourth. That’s a JUICY part of this draft.
It's more about the eye for the talent than the spot, I have been so used to wasted 1st rounders for so long I guess I assume everybody picks bad :-) [Reply]

Awesome trade for the Chiefs.
Disagree. Reek was under contract for this year. You just walk away and revisit this next year. Hell, maybe even tag him..
donks, dolts & faiders are downtrodden troglodytes. A pox on all their houses (caves)! Those 3 teams have been beaten down for so long that they have no idea how to overtake the Chiefs as Division champions.
Chiefs are #1 in the division until someone takes their place.
I'm tired of hearing the Patriots comparison; there is no comparison to that era of football because the AFC Best is not the AFC Least. For twenty years, no team in the Least ever put up much of a fight (ok, the Jets for two years) and was absolute trash.
I actually think this will be good for the Chiefs and Mahomes; maybe plays will actually develop and it won't be fuck it, chuck it to Tyreek.
There's too many good players and the NFL rules have been changing to allow more scoring. We all knew this time was coming, like Kelce will be retiring in a few years, so it's best to just accept it and move on.
When was the last time you saw a player in the NFL get upset because a fan changed jobs? [Reply]
This is a pointless thread at this point. The off-season just started. Ton's of FA's still out there. Chiefs have cap space and a shit load of ammunition to trade/draft.
Ask again right before the season. I think they will be better because of the trade. [Reply]

5 picks is a haul for a former 5th round pick.
We have picks and draft capital now thanks to Reek.
Tag and trade. Didn't we do that with Ford? Didn't the Seahawks do that to us with Clark? :-): [Reply]
