Not entirely true. It is a loop. You can go West instead of East on the loop to bypass Baltimore, but it will heavily increase traffic on an already-strained, construction-laden I-95 with only half of a loop to bypass. [Reply]

That's how I saw it too. Bridge was pretty clear of semi's and passenger vehicles, if not completely clear.
There were several times when vehicles started on to the bridge, and I was thinking "oh shit, they are not going to make it"!

If you watch some other clips, it looks like the ship lost power twice. After it regains power the 2nd time, you can see the captain or whomever has control of the ship, pouring the power on.
