I don't remember what part of the game it was but he had a run last night where he got around two yards and instead of just pushing forward he made a couple of jump steps and went back to the left and got like a 12 yard run. I can't see any of our other running backs doing that.

It was great blocking, but most of our backs get maybe 5 or 6 yards here. McKinnon has enough burst to round that corner for 10+.

McKinnon is the one of the few RB Kyle Shannahan has given a payday to. That is pretty telling.

Veach has said before his preference in rbs is more of a one cut downhill guy. Hopefully this opens his eyes a bit. Because our offense always seems to be so much more explosive with the quick shifty guys
