Well thank God we punted there. Giving up 54 instead of 47 is a big relief. 27 instead of a 20 point loss is a big relief. Really changes my outlook on the game. [Reply]
It’s best to keep things in perspective with Leipold and remember what this program was before he took over.
That said, if his coaching philosophy is to manage the game ultraconservatively and not trust his dynamic QB who rarely makes mistakes, then his tenure is going to be very frustrating at times. [Reply]

Daniels and Neal coming back would be huge. Had Daniels not gotten hurt, we probably would’ve won 8 this year. TCU, Baylor, and Tech were all winnable games where Bean made major mistakes that Daniels wouldn’t have. [Reply]
