Steelers have granted permission to starting CB Steven Nelson to seek a trade, per source. Nelson, who turned 28 in January, has been graded as one of the league’s top cornerbacks in recent seasons by @PFF.

Their OL and DL rankings are better than the other ones they do. Unfortunately people over rely on PFF because it is the easy way out. [Reply]

They really have this thing with positional value, so I guess it’s not all that surprising. They also shit on us for “taking a RB in the 1st”.
I fully understand the concept of positional value, and agree for the most part that it’s important, but Thuney’s contract is going to look cheap after Nelson gets an extension and the cap blows up.
Some people have silly rules and they look at these things in a vacuum. For instance, taking a RB at fucking 32 isn’t remotely near the same thing as taking one early or even in the middle of the 1st. [Reply]
