Day 1 felt like I was getting a cold. Neg rapid test.
Day 2 felt like a low grade flu, small fever, little cough, fatigue. Neg rapid test.
Day 3 same as day 2.
Day 4 no fever, cough not bad, some congestion
Day 5 a little congestion. Residual cough.

Pfizer vaxxed, no booster. Still waiting pcr from day 2. Spouse 3 days behind me on symptoms had a positive test today.

Got my PCR result today. Positive. And I'm literally 99% symptom free at this point. Headed back to work on Monday and enjoying being able to take extended sick leave instead of PTO.

Glad everyone is doing better

I’ve just got some sinus congestion at this point. Sore throat has cleared up for the most part

I will not wish for COVID but I could use the 10 days off. It's been a very long 2 years.
I’ve got some bad news for you. It’s only 5 days off now. New CDC recommendation.

Here we go. It's been a shitshow of a week at my wife's health system of outpatient clinics. Like total crash and burn 5 alarm, Triage phone lines have 50+ messages in the morning before they even start kind of stuff.

Oh so you think you have covid? Cool. I can't do anything to help you so don't come in and clog up my office. Stay home and don't come out until you feel better. NEXT

Other than scratchy throat and faint headache, feel fine
Where did you get the Covid test and how much? I looked at Walgreens when I was there yesterday and I saw one for $129.99.

My GF has some sickness right now. But she's not laid up or anything. I feel fine though currently.

All the studies I've seen regarding omicron are good good GOOD. Particularly if you're vaccinated and boosted.

Even if you aren't boosted.. you're probably good.

Dare I say that even if you aren't vaccinated.. you're probably good.

This may be it. I haven't been this optimistic since seeing the phase 3 data from Pfizer and Moderna.

With yet another in vivo study of Omicron infection today, it sure is looking that this variant has less virulence, less chance of inducing Covid pneumonia

Good summary. Also must consider we’re probably diagnosing small fraction of actual omicron cases, maybe as low as 1 in 10. This epidemic wave is being driven more by those with mild symptoms who don’t suspect it’s Covid, not by people who get diagnosed and isolate for 5 days. https://t.co/xuA3mFEMHI

Great on masks w useful info, including hope as we brace for Jan

“If you're vaccinated, & boosted, & wearing an N95, that's as low risk as anything in your life, *regardless of what anyone around you is doing*.”

Pandemic ebbs & flows, so reqs will too

For now #MaskUp https://t.co/Mdhq8dGFCg
