Nzoner's Game Room>The Official 2022 FIFA World Cup Thread

YOUNG AMERICANS
The USMNT was by far the youngest team to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, garnering valuable experience going through the rigors of World Cup qualifying. Through 14 qualifiers, the USA Starting XI came in at an average of 23.82, almost two years younger than the next closest team, Ghana at 25.67. Together, the other 31 participating teams averaged a Starting XI age of 27.5 through qualifying, nearly four full years older than the U.S. Sources say this is one of the youngest, but most talented teams the U.S. has ever fielded. While they may not win the world cup this year, they may garner the experience needed to make a serious run on home soil in the year 2026 when the World Cup comes back to North America.

Might flip over to Argentina/Mexico and give it a shot, given Michigan/OSU seems to be going to commercial every 90 seconds or so. :-)
Nfl redzone /streaming has spoiled me , I have a very hard time watching anything with commercial I end up changing channels too much and forget what i was watching , the lack of commercials in soccer is nice .

1-0 hockey games can be entertaining 45-40 shot goaltending duels I enjoy once In a while, but 2-3 attempt games in soccer don’t help the sport for sure.

Heh, yep... or I'll get to posting here with commercials on mute and notice later as it's about to go to another commercial.

Guess I'll check it out while football is at halftime.

Crazy to me the game has been on for 25 minutes and they've now been playing for..... 25 minutes.

They just like... keep playing.

Some good sequences in this game. But overall, this half was not enjoyable.

Besides Messi, Argentina has Zero players who could start for any top team like Brazil, France, England, or any of the top squads in the Premier League or La Liga. Even a 25 year old Messi wouldn't be able to carry this squad of mediocre players.
