Nzoner's Game Room>Advice for a knee brace...
Stewie 04:56 PM 09-16-2021
I tweaked my knee a couple of years ago. Not a big deal, but I bought a knee brace to get through the discomfort/recovery. It worked great but is way too tight and cumbersome for regular use.

I'm looking for knee support that I can wear while mowing my uneven yard and playing golf that's not meant for knee injury recovery.

I've looked online and the product claims are all over the place.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Stewie... the knee jerk

I have I went to to a knee specialist a few years ago I was referred to. The news wasn't good on the right knee and just fair on the left. The downtime I didn't care for so I am holding off on replacement till nearer to retirement. Its nearly bone on bone on the right. They squirt some goop where the cartilage was doesn't help too much with the pain.

I'm Grandpa Amos on the real McCoys now.

Cheap and light, and works really well for me.

I've never had much luck with the sleeve type braces and had to rely on the heavy duty hinged ones until I found this one srvy posted. Still not the most comfortable thing to lug around, but you can function.

Have you thought about checking out the bio replacement option? My nephew does that in Va. and most of his patients have success with it.
