Who'd the Saints piss off to get back-to-back Thursday Night games? :-) [Reply]
They scheduled this thinking that these two teams could still draw some attention in week two... boy were they wrong. But i guess someone has to win. [Reply]
The NFL and it’s TV partners trying to drive up ratings with shitty big market teams rarely works.
The Chicago/LA Rams game was down 7% from last year because the Bears are trash.
It’s the freaking NFL… king of TV… just focus on putting competitive teams in the prime time slots… regardless of market size… and they’ll be ratings gold. [Reply]
They should just show an endless loop of Lawrence Taylor breaking Theismann's leg with the running score under it. That would be more entertaining. [Reply]

When you schedule every team once on Thursday. It makes it hard to have too many marquee matchups. You also are stuck with a lot of shitty teams and it is obvious that the NFL is trying to get those teams scheduled very early in the season. [Reply]

Won't they change them in the second half of season?
The NFL might have decided to put every team on a national TV game on Thursday night. Then they can feature the best teams on Sunday and Monday night. Teams can't complain as much if they are featured, even if it's Thursday night. [Reply]
