Finished it yesterday. I'd put it behind DD and JJ, above LC.
It wasn't bad, but there needed to be much less Meacham family drama, much less Rand corporation stuff, much more background and development of Colleen Wing, so her reveal makes more sense, better overall fight choreography and just more stuff about K'un L'un and why Danny left.
All things that can I think be pretty easily fixed going forward. I though they did do a good job setting up season 2. [Reply]

I'm only on episode 3 or 4
But the guys playing the father/son Meachems are really well cast. Effectively slimey.
Just started watching it today, two episodes in. I went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Fight scenes are shit though. [Reply]

The girl playing Joy is smoking hot.
I'm liking it a lot so far.
I don't like her. She's not attractive to me in the slightest. I can't say why. She's not ugly. She doesn't appear to have a bad body. She's just...there. Might as well be a doorknob or a lamp. [Reply]

This is my main problem with it. They could have fucked up everything else about it, but the fight scenes with Rand just seem to get worse as the season progresses. I find it hilarious that the best fight scenes in the show are the ones with the "weak girl" that everybody complained about in the trailer. Rand is a complete waste. [Reply]

DareDevil did a great job with its characters (except Froggy) feeling like the they had the weight of real people going about their storylines. Jessica Jones' character development(?) was similar even if not quite as good, but I have a thing for Krysten Ritter and her character was really fun to watch anyway. Luke Cage was all right-but the plot dragged and dragged and dragged while they seemed to focus on atmosphere and getting the show to feel like a blaxploitation comic from the 70's. Maybe I'm just too much of an old fart but this just looks like a kid running around punching things. Meh.

I'm halfway through episode four and Rand is the dumbest superhero I've seen since The Tick. I don't mean that the show is dumb, I mean the character is stupid. [Reply]

if it didn't take netflix so long to figure proper casting earlier, and had a script to begin with, they could have better integrated him in the other series.
i think they deliberately waited till the last knowing how hard a sell it would be.:-) [Reply]

I always thought him and cage were horrible characters. I didn't like iron fist until he was in the young avengers or what ever it was called tv show led by spiderman and fury.
His fight scenes are not on par with daredevil, which you would figure 15 years of training by monks would be better.
Also. I am not understanding the hate luke cage series is getting. I thought it was decent. [Reply]
