So in your example, the QB who attempted and missed on one 50 yard pass would have a statline of 0/1 for 0 yards which equals out to 0 YPA and 0 YPC. The other one would be 5/5 for 50 yards which equals out to 10 YPA and 10 YPC.
YPA and YPC are both tied together. Ideally, your QB's YPA will be somewhere above 7. The more elite QBs will hover closer to (if not above) 8. [Reply]

I was stuck living in Dallas during their 90s Super Bowl runs, and saw most of the games. It's no exaggeration to claim that Aikman was their greatest weakness on offense. If he wasn't, I'd like to know who was. [Reply]

And, there's another way to look at it... with Smith, Irvin and probably 5 others on the OL and Defense, many fans would have easily said "we'll take those guys without Aikman" compared to losing any of them with Aikman behind center.

Lots of QBs have gone #1 overall.
Aikman was a good QB, I don't disagree with that... and he played on an amazingly stacked team. They didn't lose games because of Aikman, so he's go that going for him. I'm sure he was responsible for a number of their wins because of a great play.
But, Aikman is not one of the greats of his or any era. [Reply]
