developing.

The #Ravens are trading LT Orlando Brown to the #Chiefs, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A new blindside protector for Patrick Mahomes.

Except one guy on that DL was whipping his man's ass every play and his man wasn't a rookie. I really hope he comes along but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking trade after watching Brown get embarrassed pass rep after pass rep

The one guy who is the best DE in the NFL? That guy who does it every team he plays, that guy?

I would be curious if anyone has PFF to see how Mahomes and Jackson compare in their typical drop back depth.

Brown did look pretty bad regardless

I'd argue he only looked bad in certain situations. I thought that, for the most part, he and the rest of the OL had a pretty good day.

He didn’t look any worse than Fisher did against guys like Nick Bosa.

And the way he got/gets beat at least allows Mahomes to move up in the pocket. Fisher repeatedly getting his shit pushed in from a bull rush had much more potential for disaster.

Do you think a guy you traded a first round for and who may be in line for a $80 to $100 mil contract should be getting "whipped" by any body? Yeah Myles should win some reps but there's no reason he should dominate if Brown is who we think he is.

A few people have said he needs to lose weight to be able to deal with the speed guys and I think that's right. It's not like Myles was the first time we've heard in the past couple months him getting beat. He was being beat in camp by our players speed rushes and he said he was just trying to work on moves and trying things out. That doesn't seem to be the case.

Complain and criticize Brown all you want, but what was the better option for LT?

Hard to plan for such a late injury to Fisher, especially when you’re drafting at 31.

That was my take after watching again last night.

Some of it was Brown not executing well.

Some of it was Garrett being Garrett.

Some of it was Mahomes drifting too deep and not trusting his IOL yet to step up rather than keeping drifting.

Whipped? Dominated?

Words mean things, man. Neither of those come close to applying.

That was the most pressures he's allowed and that was Myles Garrett best game since week 4 last year. He had a 25% pressure rate! What would you call that?

He had 1 sack and 3 tackles.

He had some pressures, but it wasn't enough. He wasn't as good as Chris Jones and yet no one has said a goddamn thing about CJ and who he "whooped" on.

You wanna see whooped? See Chandler Jones. That's whooped and dominated.

Garrett had a nice game. Good for him.

Whooped on Brown? GMAFB.

Not to mention at least a couple of those pressures were on Mahomes…

In the end, we won and Garrett didn't beat on Mahomes with Mahomes' own helmet, so I guess that's good.

But yeah, the outside speed rush was a real problem yesterday.

Also, Garrett had at least 1 sack in 8 out of 14 games last year.
