Media Center>Conspiracy, the Paranormal, the Unexplained and the Esoteric
keg in kc 05:43 PM 01-17-2015
Figure this would have a better chance of surviving in the Media Center than on the main page, and I'll be adding youtube and podcast links from time to time as I come across them, so it fits.

This has been something that's interested me from a very young age, all aspects of mysterious stuff, whether we're talking forgotten or forbidden archeology or civilization (Atlantis, pre-colombian exploration of america, etc), unexplained events (like Tunguska in 1908, the lost Roanoke Island colony, etc), paranormal events like ghosts, the study of ESP and that sort of thing, conspiracy (ranging from JFK to stuff like the perpetration of the drug war and the infilitration of the media by US intelligence) and, of course, UFOs (which to me means "unexplained" not "extraterrestrial" but that's a whole other topic).

Anything could show up, and everybody should feel free to add whatever they like. Just try to keep it as civil and respectful as possible. This is not intended to be a DC thread; it's as much for entertainment purposes as it is to solve all the world's mysteries.

**Although if anybody posts anything from Third Phase of Moon they should probably expect me to kick them in the balls.**

Few things I like to watch or listen to in no particular order (most of this can be found on itunes as well...):

The Paracast
Binall of America
The Gralian Report
The Paranormal Report
Dark City
Radio Misterioso
Open Minds (mostly their podcast)

That's it for now, just wanted to get this started. Been thinking about doing it for a while...

"UFO" doesn't equal extraterrestrial, and pilots are fallible.

Despite the sheer number of reports, not a single frame of footage that proves anything related to intelligent aliens has been to our planet.

I'm not a UFO conspiracy guy. I think there are people out there somewhere, but this is the biggest story to ever come out in regards to this type of thing. The source is legit and did 7 hours worth of interviews. I can't wait to see what they put out.

Ok.

I never made any claim or statement suggesting that this proves intelligent beings have visited our planet; it seems like you are insinuating that I believe this to be the case.

His statement was the following; "but the thousands of commercial pilots that spend all day flying around, have never seen anything."

I provided evidence to the contrary, that in fact they (commercial pilots) have been seeing and reporting unidentified objects for many years.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty unambiguous where I stand on most matters; you won't have to guess.

This guy doing the interviews is a former Navy Seal and contractor for the CIA, and he seems to know his way around plus have great interviews. These interviews are quite long, but it could be worth your time to block off some evening and check them out....

For the most part, the Shawn Ryan Show has compelling guests even if he isn't the most skilled interviewer; he's wise enough to let the subject tell the story.

I watched these whistleblower interviews and found them to be...underwhelming to the point of being entirely unbelievable. Starting with Michael Herrera who's story is riddled with so many red flags (being dropped off as a six man element in an austere environment with no radio communications? No mother-f**king way. Not ever in the history of ever. No. Way.) to his recall of excruciating details from something that traumatic nearly 20 years later, e.g. the hair color and beard stubble of the element of supposed 'special operators' that surrounded and disarmed them, and on an on. To me, he brimmed with bullsh*t, and he seems to have memorized a script. I think civilians or folks who haven't served may eat his story up- but I thought he came off as completely unbelievable.

DC Long just seems to be a sad character to me; a guy who struggled after separating from service, found himself homeless for awhile, and by concocting this fantastical story he fills some sort of void by being validated. I served at Fort Bragg (now Fort Liberty) during the same time he tells this tale, and I was at XVIII Airborne Corps Headquarters-- I rolled my eyes listening to him. His story about being on an airborne operation / jump, and 'mystery man' (presumably a CAG/SFOD-D operator) cuts in front of him on the way out the door, thereby causing him to have a parachute malfunction that nearly kills him is utter garbage. Every single time there's an accident regarding an airborne operation inside the aircraft, on a drop zone, the activation of a reserve parachute, or even an injury-- the Airborne and Special Operations Test Directorate conducts a thorough investigation and interviews every single person involved and reviews the manifests, pilots, and all equipment. This guy is talking out of his butt... His claim that his father didn't die of natural causes, thereby implying that 'they' made him terminally ill somehow ELEVEN YEARS LATER is ridiculous. I guess the folks who wanted him dead for not signing the NDA took their sweet time killing him off. Again, this guy just comes off as a sad person who I ultimately feel more sorry for than anything.

The last interviewee -- Eric Hecker -- is clearly not an idiot and is possibly quite bright, but he presents as a person who relishes being in the spotlight. At least he has a few photographs to show he was actually in Antarctica; but again- he seems as credible as Steven Greer. If he was just a jack-of-all trades maintenance guy / firefighter, why in the world would they allow him access to these programs and pieces of equipment (if they truly existed)? Answer: they wouldn't.

I enjoy this kind of stuff, but I didn't find these guys as having any credibility whatsoever.

Maybe travelling thousands/millions of LYs takes decades/centuries/millennia? Machines might break down after such long flights, which might explain the occasional crash landings.

Non-US commercial pilots have reported UFOs for decades. US pilots are very hesitant to report such phenomena because of how they are required to report and how such a report could/probably would impact their careers. Though some have reported anyway.

However, it's the IR/radar evidence that should be taken more seriously than just the individual eyewitness accounts. Those are much more difficult to explain away.

More Shawn Ryan -

I knew nothing of Joe McMoneagle so I did a quick search of his name on YT.

That remote viewing thing is pretty strange, especially the story of Pat Price.
This is a good watch.

Great, now it's a good bet the Empire knows we're here. We better start the evacuation.

there's a new 3-5 part documentary on Tubi (free) about all the recent whistle-blowing, etc. This footage has popped up in it multiple times.

I'm finding it entertaining. It's produced by TMZ of all people, but it's pretty good.

I had never heard of this person / story / conspiracy before, and stumbled across this last weekend while looking for things to watch on Netflix. It's...interesting if nothing else. Seems as though these two guys have spent quite a few years researching an investigative reporter's (*alleged*) suicide back in 1991, which then led them down the rabbit hole to the 'Octopus' conspiracy. They don't present a lot of evidence - or any at all, really - that supports linking several high ranking and powerful people (George HW Bush, for instance) to this vast conspiracy, but it is quite intriguing. They are clearly in possession of vast amounts of material to include hours of recorded phone conversations that do lead one to question the death of Danny Casolaro. It's a crazy cast of characters for sure and worth your time if you like this kind of stuff.
