I figure him sitting around watching these mid-majors make these deep tournament runs after his team got bounced by a shirtless inbred, only served to motivate him more. Add to that, the other Kansas school made a nice run to the point they were 'the' Kansas school being talked about and hyped up, rather than his team.

This only stoked the fire the within him. Perhaps to the point he fears retirement. Whatever it did, the man in that presser sounded like a spry veteran coach ready to take this program to another level. Whatever that level is, I am not sure....but others should fear.

I think Self is in the bench, he gets the offense back on track and we beat Arkansas. Winning it all? I don’t know about that.

Hopefully he is refreshed and takes his place and is recognized by the sport as the best coach in college basketball.
