Nzoner's Game Room>Andy Reid with 2nd Most Playoff Wins in NFL History
SHOWTIME 09:53 AM 02-22-2024
Only 5 behind Belichick, who is currently unemployed and won't win a playoff game anytime soon.

Big Red now ranks 2nd in NFL history for total playoff wins among head coaches‼️ pic.twitter.com/TR7Bgn6whO

Wallcrawlers post template:

"God, you're a reerun. Oh my GOD (extra size for emphasis), you're reeruned. Can you even read? Did you go to school? Here, let me add on like 3 more insults and lay this out for you again.

Here's my one piece of flawed, one-sided evidence I'll use against you.

No, I'm not going to acknowledge that tricky question you asked me because that would derail my argument. I will now finish with an attempt at being witty and sarcastic to make me seem smarter than I actually am. Goodbye."

Of course you do.

Montana was supposed to bring em back from the ambulance amirite?
And apparently that's different than Andy losing his best offensive player in Jamaal Charles and eventually also his backup for that Colts game. Nevermind the various other impact players like Flowers and Houston that got knocked out of the game.

And Joe Montana wasn’t knocked out of the game on the first offensive series like Charles was vs Indy.

It was 28-3 Giants when Montana left the game.

And it only adds to the narrative that Bill Walsh didn’t win shit without Joe Montana… ironically the argument WallFaller is using to diminish Andy with Mahomes.

But Andy losing in the playoffs 45-44 and 22-21 with Alex Smiff is an unforgivable sin.

:-)
If you're completely retarded, and equate losing a game that you were outmatched from the jump, to losing a game in which you need to hold a 28 or 18 point lead for 2 quarters, sure.

Aww. Andy wost widdle Jamaal on the first sewies?

Obviously did not affect him. He went into the half with a 28 point lead, you unbelievable window licking legend.

Ah. So it's no longer 49-3 with Joe Montana hurr duurr derp! The wheels turm slow, but hey, they ARE turning.

Again, your issue with Walsh on my list is pretty hilarious. Tunnel vision, as it were. Walsh is on the list not because of w/l record alone.

He crafted an entire offensive philosophy and won 3 titles with it. An offensive philosophy still being used to this day.

I wonder if your infallible hero might have heard of it....

Losing 49 to 3 is FAR worse. Imagine Buffalo cleaning our clocks like that with Mahomes. That's how bad that loss was for the Niners

He really needed all those players to hold 28 points for 2 quarters?

Maybe if Andy was told that the ****ing clock stops for incomplete passes, he may have simply kept the clock moving by utilizing that 4.7 yards per rush average, instead of calling pass plays that lead to clock stoppages and the sack fumble.

The Colts lost the turnover battle, time of possession, and ran 15 less plays at 65 to Kcs 80.

You make all the excuses you like. That 28 point lead was lost from the sidelines, as was the 18 point lead to the Titans a few years later. Big Red did everything he could to keep them in the game.

Same dumb shit. Alex throwing passes that stop the clock, while Hunt saw 5 rushes over 3 quarters after rushing 6 times in the first.

An 8 year old Madden player could have called those games and won.

Losing is losing, by 1 or by 40.

Take SB 55.

Are you telling me that getting beaten 31-9 would be worse than taking an 18 point lead at the half and blowing it in the second half by mismanaging the game?

Having the game well in hand, and then absolutely shitting all over yourself to blow it, for me, is infinitely worse than simply being beaten because you were outmatched from the jump.

A 49ers team with the likes of Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Roger Craig, etc. was “outmatched from the jump”? :-)

How many laughably pathetic excuses are you going to use to justify your “rationale” for ranking Bill Walsh ahead of Andy?

Bill Walsh “crafted an entire offensive philosophy”? Go learn about Don Coryell… the foundation of the West Coast Offense was not created by Bill Walsh.

He was an innovator who evolved the offense… similar to Andy.

And again you still can’t explain why you attack Andy for not winning without Mahomes but you give a total pass to Walsh for not winning without Montana/Young.

Crafted an entire offense and won three SBs………none without a HOF QB.

The Chiefs have literally been competitive EVERY SINGLE WEEK under Reid and that includes under Alex Smith. Didn't matter who we played we had a chance down to the final minute. Over a decade straight under Reid of basically NEVER being blown out is impressive

And those Chiefs teams during the early years with Andy as HC weren’t exactly overflowing with talent… especially on offense.

Andy managed to score 44 points in that Indy playoff game with an offense that included the likes of Alex Smiff, Donnie Avery, Anthony Fasano, etc.

Their best offensive player by far… Jamaal Charles… was lost to injury on the first offensive series of the game.

Meanwhile Bill Walsh gets curb stomped 49-3 in a playoff game with Joe Montana and Jerry Rice and WallFaller gives him a total pass.

Excuse me Wallcrawler....

Are you and BucEyedPea related? You both argue losing positions either because your egos won't admit y'all are wrong..or y'all are seeking attention arguing stupid stuff.

If not related, you two should rent a room and share warm discussions about how smart y'all are.

Can't believe this thread is 18 pages worth of your poopy diapers.

Let it go.
