Nzoner's Game Room>R.I.P Mom
JakeF 07:30 PM 11-25-2021
My mom passed away today. She had a long fight, with a lot of pain. I hope she finds peace in the hereafter, without more pain. A bunch of us went up to see her at the hospice care center today for Thanksgiving; Dad, sister, aunt, cousins. A few hours later, she just slipped away.

Bye Mom.

Love you always,

Dennis

I am sorry to hear about this. My mom passed on Thanksgiving day 3 years ago. It has made this a somewhat bittersweet holiday but the family is working on making this the holiday for the family to gather, rather than Christmas. I think Mom would love to know we were remembering her in this way.

Sorry for your loss, Jake. 5 days from the 1-yr anniversary of losing mine, so I know how you feel. Hang in there and focus on the fact that she's not suffering anymore.

Really sorry for your loss JakeF. I just got home from my Moms funeral also. Thanksgiving will always take on a new meaning for us now. Hang in there and know your Mom is in a better place . A place where there is no pain and no suffering. She's looking down upon you with pride for what she made, no doubt.

I am so very sorry for the death of your mom.
You obviously love her very much. She was probably very proud of the fine man you turned out to be.

That sucks. Sorry for your loss.

Back in 2014 I lost a cousin, an aunt and my last surviving grandparent (paternal grandmother) in three consecutive days over the 4th of July weekend. Plus, my wife's grandmother suffered the stroke that would kill her a week later that Saturday. We were at the hospital with her when I got the call about my aunt. All deaths were completely unrelated. It was surreal. Seemed like every time my fucking phone rang somebody else was dead.

Since then, when the 4th rolls around I don't think about fireworks anymore.
