Of course. I don't think LL would have stayed in KU if he didn't get the administration's commitment to improve the facilities there. He wouldn't have signed that extension, I'd suspect.

But you're not wrong on one thing, and that is gotta recruit and fill your coaching staff. I would not be one bit surprised if his OC gets a HC gig somewhere down the road. That guy can scheme.

The majority of my current students were not alive the last time we beat you on the gridiron.

And does it ever hurt.

For the last 14 years, beating ku has kinda been like having sex with a dead body.

But this time, beating ku was like having sex with an unconscious body.

Does Cincy & BYU join the league next year? Big 12 was fun as hell to watch this year. I think OU will be better next year, who knows about Texas but they are crushing recruiting, Texas Tech is a sleeper IMO McGuire has done a hell of a job

Matt Rhule is a reluctant recruiter and Nebraska needs a coach who dives head first into that portion of the job.

I'm not as sold on him as others. Saving grace could be if Nebraska has a solid NIL program and can leverage that in the portal and recruiting trail.

Rhule won't have a Joey McGuire, a guy who is a former Texas HS football coach who had tremendous relationships in the state, on his staff at Nebraska.

You can be optimistic, I suppose that's the right of a fan.

I'm telling you Rhule isn't the recruiter that Nebraska needs to right the ship.

I literally just mention how his DB coach just put 3 guys into the league last year and you're still ranting about recruiting :-)

And here's his S&C coach
