@Eric_Edholm Living in Colorado, I know all things McCaffrey. Current popularity ranking here ...

1. John Elway
2. Christian McCaffrey
3. Everyone else

Probably dying people in Colorado saying, "Don't waste time saving me ... use all your energy to make sure Elway drafts McCaffrey."

You're too busy collecting gold bars to notice...distracting hive bees is easy. "More is better" is implanted in the subconscious. Material plane awareness and envy....its where they shackle the shallow and rote learners.

Keep pretending...and pointing the spotlight elsewhere.

Year #2 will be with McCoy and Musgrave where the offense will be designed around him.

You assclowns are still waiting for Smith to arrive. Have fun waiting...
Kubiaks offense was supposed to be perfect for Lynch.

He got worse every game to the point it didn't look like he could even complete a pass after the first couple starts.

I'm far from calling him a bust, but he's probably every bit the project now that he was when they drafted him...and the OL is worse than last year.

The coaches comments to the media about him are about as damning as it gets on this level. He talks about Lynch like he's a 5th round project QB.

After a couple years it would've been a perfect system for Lynch, but it wasn't going to be an offense that Lynch was going to be comfortable in immediately. Kubiak's offense was the polar opposite of what Lynch ran at Memphis.

So, he entered game 4 vs the Bucs near the end of the 2nd half --- his first action of the year when Trevor was hurt. Fairly pedestrian, but decent stats with a TD and 0 INT ... they won.

Game 5, vs the Falcons in Denver... the Falcons RBs on the ground and through the air tore them apart. Broncos had no answer on the ground and Lynch was again, fairly pedestrian in his second game and first legit start. Lynch was sacked 6 times in that game - chalk it up to inexperience and a poor OL situation.

The next time he played was game 12. Lynch and the entire offense looked putrid on the road, but it was a win.

So, there you have it... his body of work. You paint a picture that he started half the season... that's just not the case.

And, Kubiak's offense, well it wasn't exactly that with the OL issues and poor production from the RBs, thanks to Anderson's injury as well there. They also lost Janovich (rookie FB, I know), but he showed lots of upside in his limited time.

We'll see how things shake out.

You can't be too high on him, MHM

I haven't seen enough of him to truly form an opinion. I don't think there's an issue with Trevor, quite honestly. The kid plays smart, fights through injuries and did well behind a crap OL and poor running game with no true threat at TE.

Fix those issues and either of them can likely be a legitimate starter. Top 10? Way too early to expect that from either, it's a lofty goal. You can win a SB without a top 10 QB... if the team around them is great. Granted, only a handful of elite QBs have consistently won the SB in recent years.

I'm curious to see what happens with McCoy's offense and Musgrave's coaching. Cautiously optimistic with both of them is where I sit and it's 100% why I was against signing someone like Romo.

Wrong again boss. Don't you ever get tired of being wrong about the Broncos? Kubiak' offense was never claimed to be perfect or a match for Lynch. What might have been said is Kubiak is a great coach for Lynch or something along those lines...

I don't ever recall hearing that Kubiak's system was perfect for Lynch, but honestly... what the hell does it matter? The dude played maybe 2.5 quarters in it as a rookie. And, with the OL issues and injury to CJ Anderson, it really was a shell of what it could have been.

It's 2017... Kubiak is retired. Let's see what the new offensive system looks like and then you can pick it apart.

Kubiak is a sorry ass coach. He sucked ass in Houston and sucked ass in Denver. FAs and Wades defense did it all.

Cool... and the next time I extol the greatness of Kubiak will be the first time. Elway's decision to cut bait with Fox was the right choice. Fox was brought in to turn things around, it's what he does and they did that - he just couldn't win the big one. They moved from Del Rio to Wade and things became great, he did a phenomenal job with the talent they brought in. Now, Joe Woods gets to take over and we'll see how that goes.

It is funny though... all the doom and gloom that is destined to happen without Wade. I mean, year 2 of Wade was supposed to be a fall back to earth failure as well. So, which is it? Were the Broncos truly doomed with Wade continuing as the DC or is it only a reality now because he's gone?

A longtime NFL mantra is "defense wins championships"... they still have a championship defense. They've lost a couple of guys in the past two seasons, but they have some young guys ready to take over too. Will it be at the elite level of the SB year? Maybe not, but they're going to be a top 5 unit again.

Something tells me this isn't how RainMan envisioned Von Millers first run-in with the FBI. :-)

I bet Miller is sweating because he has a dime bag stashed in the liner.
