According to my doctor, my stomach and my rectum I need a lot more fiber in my diet. I doubt I am the only one. My favorite foods are beer, meat and salt. I also like cheese and good potato chips.

Our Braums has low carb bread. Although higher in sodium it’s loaded with fiber. Two slices has 9g fiber. Low carb tortillas have a lot of fiber too. [Reply]
I eat somewhere between 1/2-1 cup of this stuff with blueberries (frozen and thawed in microwave), mango (frozen and thawed in microwave), and chopped banana every morning. Hose it down with some almond milk and you’ll have more fiber in a bowl of cereal than most Americans eat in a day. It’s a ritual for me at this point, and also lets me breathe a little easier later in the day when I’m tired as fuck after work and am susceptible to an imperfect dinner choice. It is a little pricier than your average cereal, but it’s also not basically dessert like the crap you’ll see at the store.
Do ease into fiber intake. Don’t just go from getting none to having 30 g in a day or you’ll likely get either constipation or the shits. [Reply]
