Sources: The #Seahawks and #Chiefs are deep in talks on a trade to send star Frank Clark to KC. The compensation would include a 1st rounder, a 2020 2nd rounder and a swap of mid-rounders. To complete it, the franchise tagged player and Chiefs must hammer out a deal.

I do wonder if this means Hill is less likely to get paid after this season more than anything. He may have fucked himself and they went defense with his $$.
No way Hill gets a long term deal this year or probably in the off season. If it’s not guaranteed $’s due to off the field issues so the Chiefs aren’t stuck with a long term suspended but getting paid Hill. [Reply]

We dropped Houston and Ford because of money. Now we are adding the same money back onto the team, at the same position. People said we cut expensive edge rushers because Spagnuolo didn't want those edge rushers.
We trade Ford(13 sacks) and get a 2nd.
We trade a 1st, a 2nd and we swap 3rds for Clark(13 sacks)
It's been well established that it was a team wide decision. Yes, Veach "Banged the table" for him, but EVERYONE was on board. Dorsey wanted him. Reid wanted him. Clark wanted him. It wasn't just Veach.
And it was Dorsey who pulled off a masterful trade to make it happen.
I have yet to see Veach pull off a trade of that caliber. [Reply]
I might be one of the few that doesn’t think this is a bad deal as long as the Chiefs don’t hinder their ability to sign the players they need to sign.
We got a better player than anyone we could have gotten (most likely) at #29. Some people on here are placing way too much value on a late 1st round pick (essentially it’s a high 2nd). We really only gave up the worst of our 2nds next year for a high end pass rusher. This is a much better deal in retrospect. [Reply]

After his drama, he's earned himself a prove it year.
'Reek will get paid next offseason when Watkins comes off the books. [Reply]
Frank Clark to me on #Chiefs trade: "I feel like I'm good. I wanted to be somewhere where I'm wanted, where I'm appreciated. I thank God that KC came in & showed that...In life u just want to be shown that you are appreciated sometimes & I feel like this was one of those things."
