I had the Jax game as a loss. The Detroit game no one saw coming, but again, that was a SB for them, they brought more energy, NE didn't, and that's how you lose.

Tenn I have no explanation.

Miami was a fluke play and that's on them for letting it happen.

Pitt was desperate, but I still don't believe Brady was willing to finally accept this team needs to run more and can, delving up carries in between the Tackles more with Gronk blocking more..

I literally said about a month ago that Gronk needs to not really get targets anynore, so since this shift took all year to happen, I think BB had to do some beind the scenes convincing and a sell job on both Brady and Gronk, that this is now more so the way.

Let's be honest: Brady and Gronk skipping OTAs was a nozzle move. I am as diehard as they come, but I will not lie about Brady's primadonna, passive aggressive antics this offseason on the heels of a Facebook Doc and a cookbook while acting like a baby because Guerrero can't rub him down before a road game.

I mean, seriously. Who kidnapped Tom- Brady? I'll tell you who...Giselle.

So, I think BB has spent all year managing some egos, but what I've seen since the Pitt loss is a realization, this style of offense is how it needs to be.

These are just my opinions, because there is no way with this kind of talent on offense, with 1st and 2nd rd picks everywhere, could be that bad.

Brady was throwing at a 40% compl. clip in the red zone. That's horrendous.

But, I am now I am sold that Gronk and BRady are all in since the Buffalo and Jets games, and certainly after last week. It's on.

The run game and the Pony Package are lethal and this is not your daddy's Post-Lockout Pats. This isn't finesse with 50 passes a game and 80% of those out of the shotgun. Nope.

And there is no permanent slot WR either. There is no Welker or Amendola.

This is 2004 and no one should have a clue where the ball is going. And, you know what? It still might go to Gronk in single man at some point up the seam or in the red zone.
I see similar.

The personality of this team now is the running game. I just hope Josh sticks with it.

I think BB/Tom and BB/Gronk have mended fences and its back to business as usual. I do believe that caused problems in the locker room early.

I think it took longer than it should have for Flo to figure out what he had and for the D to trust him.

I'm still concerned about the inconsistencies at the end of games we've seen all year creeping into this one.

I mean, we all know you were rooting for SD last week, and we know why.

SO, it doesn't make sense to act like you have this game in the bag.

I like the Chiefs. I always have. I appreciate Hunt loaning Sullivan money last minute to help our franchise become a franchise in 1960.

And, I think your fans are good and have deserved better through the years, and I know how exciting that feeling is for the first home AFC Title game. I was at ours in 1996 and it is probably my favorite sports memory, including a gazillion Sox and B's games growing up as a kid.

My reaction would be this:

We have to play the Pats with no turnovers and hope home field can the be the difference.

It wouldn't be 90% of what I read on this board. It's just confusing. This ain't the Colts, the Texans, or whatever half baked franchise coming in there.
:-):-):-)

True. I mean, I am not going to go back and forth with a child or moron who believes Goodell's lies. I am just saying, when I see this from other fanbases, it means they're very nervous. It's an easy thing to say and bring up to mask the fear.

Besides, KC cheated recently with tampering. Actual, real cheating that is proven.

KC fans can rest assured that the reason why their punishment was so severe for tampering was because of Framegate II ("Deflategate") by the way. Hunt is not in tight with Goodell and Goodell wanted to make sure it wouldn't appear like he was just ganging up on our team.

So, KC fans aren't even aware how long Goodell's cheating tentacles are.

If you believe that the GOAT coach, the GOAT QB, a team full of Super Bowl champions with a ton of playoff experience who is now healthy and clearly motivated and fired up about everyone thinking they suck, will come into Arrowhead and lay an egg in their biggest game of the season, you'll be disappointed.
We spent the better part of Monday talking about scheme, personnel, etc. Most of you guys just regurgitate the same GOAT crap over and over and over. Sorry, we can't thoughtfully and intelligently address every 14-year old Patriot fan that feels the need to stroke their ego by visiting another team's message board. We've got ladies to please, beer to drink, and an AFC Championship game to get ready for. So you might as well calm down, ask your mom to make you some more pizza rolls, and fire up the Fortnite. We're bored with you.

We're so nervous, we're visiting rival message boards and reassuring them that this is the great team ever, with the greatest coach ever, and the greatest QB ever.

That's rich.

That has nothing to do with scheme or matchups, squirt. The two pass rushing units will never see the field against one another.

What that discussion did was to serve as an illustration that the Chiefs pass rush is not the fearsome unit that Chiefs fans make it out to be. Not even close.

However, if you'd like to discuss how these pass rushing units will matchup against the opposing OLs, that would be far more relevant.

It's not as sexy or flashy of an offense, but they can now win lower scoring games easier than they did from 2011-2013.

2014 and 2016, they had Blount, but Michel is much better. And, if they throw it more to Michel? Watch out. The 2014 and 2016 teams, healthy like this one, also featured better Ds than people wanted to give them credit for. For total D they were #4 and #1, respectively, but the way the media bashes BB, average fans wouldn't even know the truth.

This is why I like the Pony Package between the 20s. If you use two RBs with different, yet somewhat similar skill sets, Ds can't guess pass or run as easy. They can do more of a 004 offense, but on coke. Your RBs/FB are the best the in the COnf, the O Line probably is, the TEs are good, and so forth. And, the WRs are better than Branch, Patten and Givens in 2004, too.

I hate that 2nd and 2 call on the first drive last week where White got 8 and then he subbed in Michel and Derwin James blew it up. This was a horrible substitution by McDaniels, but he was great after that.

Yes, I also agree there was a 2017 Gurerrero/Bill let my buddy Amendola go/Butler should have been overpaid to stay too attitude floating around.

Personally, I felt Brady and Gronk were way out of line. Brady is the same age as me and I would never, ever behave that way with my teammates where I work.

The whole thing was childish. Brady gets probably a rent free TB12 facility on Gillette/Kraft property and he's whining about possible undermining of Pats EMPLOYEES that BB hired and how Guerrero could undermine them? It was childish and disappointing, but it may now work in our favor on Sunday when the dust settles.

This is Gronk's last year, IMO, so that will be hovering in the air, too.

He is a horrible commissioner and manager of the league and is too much of a politician and agenda- driving moron to abide by league bylaws and what the competition committee established which state understand where you can/can't tape games (which Bill abided by) or how cold temperatures compresses air molecules.

I don't want to waste a single keystroke on that asshat.

Good post... I believe they are trying to talk themselves into confidence, like Brady is trying to do. The tables have turned.

I'm sorry that you are walking into a situation where the opposing fans don't fear you.

But Chiefs haven't feared the Patriots since Andy has been here. And we sure as hell are not afraid of you because we have the more talented QB.

So cry more, as your dynasty ends ours starts.
