Plays for the vet minimum after earning a second contract that was 4 years, 30 million, 18 guaranteed. I think he had to accept less to stay with 49ers on the 4th year.

Then he comes here on the vet minimum and is one of the best kick coverage guys in preseason and even makes solo tackles on kickoffs and punts in the regular season.
