Was it reviewable? Seems like a play that decides the outcome of a game should be reviewable even if its a game of non-playoff teams. [Reply]
The pass to Slayton all alone in the endzone wasn't like a lob in the bread basket, he was running full speed and having to reach out and it was a little long or needed more loft, definately a little loft since no defender was around.
In any advent the Giants lost because they played conservative. Jason Garrett play calling was just out of the cowboys playbook. Intercept the ball on the 20 with a little time left, instead of going for the jugular, they make two runs of the middle, finally a pass that falls incomplete, out trots Gano for the field goal. Had they had the 7 points they would of probably won. They left the door open for Washington. Did you notice in the first game the Cowboys looked like a formable offense slinging the ball around, no more conservation Jason Garrett. [Reply]

Said it during game thread, but the commentary from Buck and Aikman was especially terrible on this play. This was on Jones, not Slayton. They made the entire narrative about Slayton failing when to me if you want to make that play everything then it was 100% on Jones. [Reply]

There’s blame on both sides. Jones should have made it an easier catch but if you get both hands on it as a receiver in the NFL you absolutely have to catch that ball. [Reply]
