My main issue with it is LT. Obviously Jefferson would be great, but you get max 1 cheap year before you're paying him, and you've given up 2 1sts when you'll need an LT next year and almost certainly can't afford one in FA once you're paying Jefferson.
I'd keep the picks, see if you can move up for a proper LT or WR that's cost controlled for longer, personally. [Reply]
Why let Tyreek go if you're going to turn around and give up x2 firsts and the same contract value? ...This move wouldn't fit the front offices philosophy. [Reply]

Because one is 24 and less reliant on speed where the other is in the latter half of his career. [Reply]

I don't think I'd do it personally, I'd rather use those picks to go up for a LT, but Jefferson would be sweet.
If you're going to swing for the fences for a WR, I think you jump up for someone you think is a sure thing, rather than use that same draft capital AND cap space on a guy like Jefferson.
Or, you continue to play the moneyball game that we have been playing with DB's, DL, WR & RB, and invest the picks into OT or DT (if Jones leaves). [Reply]
