Thanks!

I'm friendly with a doc and a couple nurses that work work on the covid floor of our hospital. They've seen a couple elderly patients that were fully vaccinated come through, but that they stay for a day and are then discharged. They said before folks in this age bracket and with their health conditions would have been there for weeks, if they lasted that long.

The @WHO
"Children should not be vaccinated for the moment.
There is not yet enough evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to make recommendations for children to be vaccinated against COVID-19."https://t.co/HCRN9lbdrM

I think it's probably smart at this point to delay atleast the 2nd shot if not the whole thing for 18 and U.

The 1st dose 100% effect in kids(Israeli study below).

FDA paused J&J vax--so too should we pause the 2nd mRNA dose in kids.

The rest of the world is holding off (WHO, Germany, UK,Israel)

But the CDC&FDA keep kicking the can down the road, despite concerned experts on CDC ACIP

New research adds to calls for better support for long COVID patients

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canad...ehp&li=AAggNb9

Evans of the Montreal Neurological Institute, meanwhile, said the long-term impact of serious brain impairment after COVID-19 could be “not unlike dementia” in some people

Not peer reviewed so take it with a grain of salt, but something to keep an eye on.
