All it takes is one person to say they became sick and he has left himself open to fines and a lawsuit.

Selling food without a Health license and a city Business license is against the law, does not matter what FB thinks.

He could rent time in a commercial kitchen at the Ennovation Center and be legit. Go get your Health cards and Biz license on the square.

Having a Food Handlers Permit and Biz license is mandatory in our city.

To get the Manager card as an owner- it is a 3-hour class and a test.

You are dealing with food and it is important to be legit and know what you are doing.

The Ennovation Center is outstanding. I was the first kitchen manager there when they opened. It could really take his business to the next level if they are serious about it. Just my opinion, but if it is a hobby- it is not worth the financial risk by selling to people outside of friends and family. Best of luck!
