Okay - I'm not really big on hype - but I watched this in its entirety and it gave me nightmares for two nights. Not a big deal, yet it really is strange.
Any of you run into any odd sites? I don't mean the deep web - I just mean random odd sites that you may've heard of or run into.
Watch this at your own risk - it really is somewhat disturbing - but it also TOO is very interesting!

That motherboard video shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what the 'deep web' is and how it works. The vast majority of it is non-illegal stuff.
It just happens to be the ONLY place to find the illegal stuff. And if your looking for it, you can certainly find it.
Hell I buy my illegal asthma inhalers off of the 'light web?' all the time. I need to order some more actually this weekend :P

i believe so, but you would never want to do that without having your ip address secure as you could be traced and the gov't most def. looks at that. [Reply]

The thing that really bugged me out - is the when they talked about the "two boys, one hammer" page/link on that video by Motherboard. I really was disturbed by that - then when you see all the amber alerts - you can't help but think often that's probably what happens to missing children, for this secret (sick as ****) society/underworld - that's why I'd indicated it was so disturbing.
