More changes on the #Chiefs offensive line: Starting center Austin Reiter will hit the free-agent market and is expected to land elsewhere, source said.
With Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz cut today, Patrick Mahomes' protection is set to look at least 60% different in 2021.
Trading for Andre Dillard makes a ton of sense really. The Eagles like the upside of Jordan Mailata at LT after his performance last year there and already have Lane Johnson at RT. Dillard doesn't really project well inside and I'd think they'd want to get something for the 22nd overall pick 2 years ago who played well as a rookie.
If Veach can swing a 3rd? Nails. Even for a 2nd or 1st he's probably worth over what will be available at 31. [Reply]

Is it though? Kelce and Hill are obvious. But CEH can run the ball and they need a true X receiver. I’d love to come down a notch from the balls to the wall chuck it deep offense to the one when we played the Bears in 2019. 8-9 play drives with the ability to pick your deep shots and also run the ball if you need to. I’m good with this as well.
This would allow the Chiefs to spend money elsewhere. [Reply]

Do you realize that regardless if it's Williams or someone else, we're going to pay a shit ton of money for someone to play LT next season and the next few after that?
Do you understand that Baltimore is not going to trade us, their biggest rival, a starting LT for chump change?
Are you really this stupid?
We're dropping a boatload of cash on a left tackle. Get used to the idea. [Reply]

I’m not against this idea. He fits what we do and is young and talented. [Reply]
