It won't impact them at all presumably considering they're missing two of the best players in the NCAA for this game who will be both apparently be back for the tournament. [Reply]

So you feel that even though KU could only do at best the 6th seed in the big 12 that they will have done enough to earn a 4/5 seed in the national tournament? [Reply]

Has nothing to do with feeling. They'll be a #4 seed next week at worst due to their resume when healthy. [Reply]

We honestly should have just played the walk-ons all game. Couldn't have shot any worse and the defense wouldn't be worse than it is with Timberlake anyway. [Reply]

Weren’t they the 6th best team in the big 12 with a healthy team this year? I know plenty of big 12 teams that were ahead of them in the standings even though they lost multiple critical guys for 6+ conference games…
Also, do you think KMac will get another year of eligibility given he’s missed 1-2 games this year? Seems to be the typical process… [Reply]

They're in 5 seed range in kenpom and a 4 seed in Bracketology... so it's not exactly just KU fan being KU fan.
As far as tonight, they take injuries into account so it probably won't matter much at all as long as the committee has faith they'll be healthy for the tournament. [Reply]

No, KU hasn't been healthy for almost a month and a half now. McCullar has been missing games intermittently for that long and playing injured in the games he did play.

Here's a question for you. Is Timberlake the worst scholarship player in the Self era?
I think you can make a pretty decent statistical case offensively that he's close and then when you account for his defense (which is definitely the worst of any Self player actually getting consstent minutes I've ever seen), who else could it really be? [Reply]
Kansas has lost back to back games by 20 or more for the first time since losing 37-15 against Missouri on 2/1/1919 and 45-25 (also Missouri) on 1/31/1919. #kubball
