There was no market for our “assets”.

To Texans, the DFW area is small compared to the rest of Texas.

But you are correct, it's stupid to think DFW is a small market!

Got to love strange spring training rules. We had bases loaded with Santana up and Texas just said they were done for the inning, pitch count too high lol.

Whaaaat? I live here. I have no idea what this means. And no...we are not small market at all. The Rangers approach is super easy to understand. They are hyper-conservative, fiscally and the owner definitely treats the Rangers like a business in which he wants to maximize profits. People go to the games, regardless (Covid season not withstanding).

Suely Matias hit a ball today that was estimated at 500 feet. I want to see the video, but they said it destroyed a palm tree out beyond the bullpen, Matheny said its the farthest he has ever seen a ball hit, he thought it was over 500.

Steve Stewart said he's never seen a ball hit further at Goodyear Ballpark than this blast from Seuly Matias. Steve Physioc estimated it at 450 feet. (video courtesy of @Royals) #Royals pic.twitter.com/GgXhnRpPOg

It's hard to see him becoming viable in the majors with contact rates of 48%, 61% and 58%. I've given up on him even as young and toolsy as he is.

You are a fan of a college football team that still thinks it is the 20th century.

Shouldn't Nebraska let go of the 1990's too?
