He looked so good running to the outside and actually beating defenders to the edge before cutting upfield. He was electric in the screen game as well.
Patrick seemed to actually like and trust throwing him the ball, which is key.

I don't remember what part of the game it was but he had a run last night where he got around two yards and instead of just pushing forward he made a couple of jump steps and went back to the left and got like a 12 yard run. I can't see any of our other running backs doing that. [Reply]

McKinnon is the one of the few RB Kyle Shannahan has given a payday to. That is pretty telling.
Veach has said before his preference in rbs is more of a one cut downhill guy. Hopefully this opens his eyes a bit. Because our offense always seems to be so much more explosive with the quick shifty guys [Reply]
