He also had to get his gallbladder removed. Surgery was today he came out they said he was fine but there were complications. He is icu right now he hasn't woken up yet. Please pray for him he my only full blooded brother. [Reply]
Be sure to visit often and ask doctors questions, even if he has other family there. Having an advocate, better yet several advocates, often results in better care. I have a son with severe cerebral palsy. He's had pancreatitis twice and pneumonia 9 times not to mention other issues. If my wife and I didn't take shifts 24/7 every time he was admitted there's no way he'd be with us today. He's 24 years old now. God bless and prayers. [Reply]

Gallbladder surgery is typically routine, but as my surgeon said, "There's nothing routine about surgery." While mine went routinely, my boyfriend's mom ended up in ICU a week after hers due to sepsis from an infection. She was in ICU for 8 days. That was 4 years ago, and she is fine now. Hoping your brother comes out the other side of this okay.
