I’ve been thinking about starting this thread for awhile now. I have always enjoyed seeing all the different foods in my favorite films. Show me all your fav movie scenes that included your fav meals, it can be from a classic movie or a terrible movie. I don’t care let’s just discuss Food in Movies.

I will kick things off from the prison scene in Goodfellas.

Paul Newman attempted to eat 50 boiled eggs in an hour in Cool Hand Luke. Many jailhouse bets ensued.

In honor of that scene, Joey Chestnut ate 50 eggs too, but he shot for 4 minutes instead of an hour LOLLLLLLL

I watched Burnt on Netflix.

It’s about a dudes journey in pursuit of a 3rd Michelin Star.

The food in it is good. Maybe a notch below Chef or The Bear, but good stuff. Except Sous Vide was around 5 years ago. I mean I get it. But come on.

Anyway, the show is really fucking good. Bradley Cooper is amazing. Maybe not as magnetic as in A Star is Born but really really good. I recommend it.

The pastry scene from "Van Wilder" comes to mind.

That’s a good and bad choice.

Excellent movie. Marcus Wareing, former sous chef to Gordon Ramsay, was chef consultant of that film.
