Nzoner's Game Room>Chiefs potentially building new stadium in Kansas
Sassy Squatch 09:45 AM 03-29-2022

Chiefs prez Mark Donovan, when asked this AM about potential new stadium options, said the team has considered options in state of Kansas. They like Arrowhead and legacy of Lamar Hunt’s stadium, but have been pitched by Kansas developers on a bunch of options. Something to watch.

If they build a new stadium I bet the capacity will be smaller as well. 78k is way too many for our market size.

Damn, that was 15 years ago? Well, that changes things.

Clark will want a retractable roof.

As they should. Wished that would have passed when it was up for a vote.

I like the idea too, although I'm probably in the minority.

Convenient walking distance to Subway AND Taco Bell! What more local attractions could you want?

If I were a Jackson County taxpayer between the 2005 and 2015: I'd sue.

A roof would be nice with a QB like Mahomes. Playing in the snow is nice when you have a great defense and run game.

That is why a retractable roof is perfect, you get to decide on each given Sunday. And you can still keep the natural grass. Don't want any part of that Field Turf or whatever they use now

Buffalo is building their new stadium and it's a completely outdoor. Why anyone would want to go to a game in Buffalo after like October is beyond me. It is always so shitty there.

Should get one too. It’ll pay for itself with getting a SB.

As long as it’s always open unless very extreme storm like an ice storm where players could get injured.
