Nzoner's Game Room>Chiefs potentially building new stadium in Kansas
Sassy Squatch 09:45 AM 03-29-2022

Chiefs prez Mark Donovan, when asked this AM about potential new stadium options, said the team has considered options in state of Kansas. They like Arrowhead and legacy of Lamar Hunt’s stadium, but have been pitched by Kansas developers on a bunch of options. Something to watch.

When I lived in Lees Summit, a lot of players and coaches lived there. Easy access to the highway makes a short trip to Arrowhead.

That's total bullshit. Some has changed...Legends area...but not much else. More Starbucks and strip malls.

The Legends is the equivalent of a bug zapper if the bugs in question were white trash.

You are right man. Literally nothing has changed that would impact the possibility of a stadium there except for a wildly successful NASCAR track a wildly successful soccer stadium aNd literally 150k+ more residents in Johnson County KS alone.

I am not an advocate for them moving to Kansas but don't let your dislike of me lead you to say things that are dumb.

Lest we forget….. the Jackson County taxpayers paid $375 million to renovate the stadium 11 years ago.

Spit it out then. Show us your galaxy brain and list what’s changed.

I’m betting on a tapout.

Is that the same JoCo that voted overwhelmingly against BiState II in 2004 forcing Jackson to go it alone in 2006?
