Meh. At best the third Obama admin is partially at fault for the auto rental price spike indirectly thanks to the Cash for Clunker debacle which destroyed the used car market. Cutting out a generation of used cars -> newer used cars are more scarce.
The lockdowns are the biggest reason for the rental prices being so high since there aren't any new cars being sold due to the chip shortage, which in turn has nuked the used car market. [Reply]
