I am interested to see what the reaction will be if things open back up and shit doesn’t hit the fan

IKR? I fully expect that any small spike to be met with a gazillion "I TOLD YOU SO" types and lock downs for months.

You can add economic experience as well.

Expect any crazy isolated events to totally get blown up. That's my biggest worry. Like 1 kid gets diagnosed and school shuts down for 8 weeks in the fall.

Miami serology in

Suggests the IfR would be what, .1-.3?

Something isn’t adding up here

Well, for one Florida is a lot of old retired folks. These tests done a few weeks ago would suggest infections in mid March before all the lockdowns happened

They’ve had 233 deaths

Kind of the same woth Texas and California

Some weird factors in New York made it a hot bed bit it’s looking like we could (hopefully fingers crossed) end up with an IfR of .3-.5

Not

Here’s the thing tho as Hamas has brought up, a lot of this is pre print. I personally think the peer review process can be a bit overkill, it’s rigorous as hell. These are pretty complex studies and the setups can be made to look different

I’ve sat thru some peer review sessions when I was an undergrad assistant and they’re not uh, fun
