Counting on the fact that he wasn't expected to play as much or as well as he has. During the time he's played he was leaps and bounds better each game. [Reply]
Rookie of the Year: Creed Humphrey (really close with Bolton though)
Comeback Player of the Year: Juan Thornhill (he was still recovering last year)
Most Improved Player: Willie Gay
“Twelfth Man” Award (top non-starter): Fenton (assuming you don’t count him as a starter, otherwise maybe Pringle?)
Coach of the Year: Heck
Underrated Player of the Year: Ward
Non-Kicker Special Teams Player of the Year: I’m assuming “Kicker” includes punter, so I’ll go with McKinnon. I feel like his kick off coverage has been pretty good. Seems like he’s been in on a few special teams tackles.
Achilles Heel Award (player who sucks the most): Sorensen
“C’mon, Do Something” Award (we expected more out of this player): Hardman [Reply]
Im going say most improved player is Ward. I can tell I'm GDT he isn't getting cussed out as much and he has been making plays on defense. It's getting harder for teams to pass because of Sneed and Ward. [Reply]
Defensive MVP - This is tough. I don't think anyone has stood out from the rest as the leader. I think our only defensive starters who have played in all 11 games are Sneed and Nnadi. While he's had a few growing pains this year, I'll have to go with Sneed.
Rookie of the Year - I like that we have so many candidates. I guess I'd go with Trey Smith right now, but it's a tough race.
Comeback Player of the Year - We haven't really had one. Maybe Townsend after the rough Super Bowl?
Most Improved Player - Gotta go Gay here.
“Twelfth Man” Award (top non-starter) - Fenton, though I could argue for Bolton too.
Coach of the Year - Maybe Sam Madison coaching the cornerbacks? That's a solid, solid unit these days.
Underrated Player of the Year - Derrick Nnadi. He's always there for us.
Non-Kicker Special Teams Player of the Year - Chris Lammons seems to really enjoy special teams.
Achilles Heel Award (player who sucks the most) - I refuse to criticize a Chiefs player formally.
“C’mon, Do Something” Award (we expected more out of this player) - I refuse to criticize a Chiefs player formally.
I would add Nick Bolton as our breakout player of the year. [Reply]
