1. 12 hours for each pick. Unless it's on the weekends.....then your clock can go **** itself.
2. Make sure that you have PMs turned on. After you make your selection, PM the next person up to let them know that they're on the clock. If you know that you aren't going to be on and able to make your selection, PM a list of your desired picks (in the order you want them) to someone else. You can send those to me, or some other poster you trust. Make sure the person who selects before you knows who to alert when your team is on the clock. If you miss your pick, you will be skipped and you'll have to make your pick as soon as you can. If you miss two consecutive picks, you lose your teams.
3. Format your selections as such: *Insert team name* selects Player Name, POS, School. Make sure they are bolded so that people can see them. You can add pictures and explanations if you'd like but they aren't required.
4. Do a search of the thread before you pick to make sure that the player hasn't been selected. If you pick a player that has already been drafted, you face the wrath of the entire thread and you'll have to correct it. So don't make a pick and then leave for 14 hours. Stick around and make sure that you didn't **** up.
5. I and everybody else who help operate this mock try to keep up on NFL offseason news while the draft is in session. We input the comp picks, and we're usually good about adjusting the order for any blockbuster trades that may occur where the previously made picks aren't affected, but sometimes we miss things. It may be a good idea to keep up-to-date on your team's offseason moves regarding their supply of draft picks and let us know if stuff comes up so we can make the changes to the draft order. No, in the end, the true order will likely not be 100% perfect or accurate, but shit happens when you do mocks a month before a draft starts.

I won't be able to make pick 78 until after midnight or Tuesday morning. Starting a new job tomorrow and won't risk being the guy on his cell phone day 1, have a team lunch scheduled, and then am attending a concert with the wife in the evening. I was really hoping one of you guys would take this dude so I could congratulate you on making a good pick and not have to take him myself.
The Jets select: Tariq Woolen, CB - UTSA
He's so damn raw and may be out of the league before his rookie contract is up. He could go in the top of the 2nd or at the bottom of the 4th. I really can't read him much at all.
But those attributes just don't come along very often. And he's raw because he's just learning the position. Meanwhile he's demonstrated some awfully good aptitude for the position and while I got a steal in Booth for the Jets earlier, it's not like the Jets have a ton of depth anywhere.
So with a team so clearly in need of talent just about everywhere and not under immediate pressure to win right away, I just have to stockpile as many potential blue-chippers as I can get.
There are MUCH smarter, more rational picks on the board here. Guys who could probably contribute on Day 1 and have significantly higher floors. But man I just can't pass on this athleticism and length. Especially when the guy has shown a willingness to get his nose dirty despite just recently making the conversion to defense. [Reply]

Looked at him and got so flustered trying to figure out how I ranked the TEs in this draft that I threw my hands up and decided to wait and see how the board looks in the 4th.
Did the same thing at a couple other positions as well. I said all along I didn't study deep into this draft and I'm starting to notice it. After about 75 players I'm pretty much pulling names out of a hat. [Reply]
