GeForce gang, they released an update for this game yesterday that supposedly improves NVidia performance by 75%. Update the game, and also update your NVidia drivers. New drivers were released yesterday as well, and I'm assuming the new drivers are necessary for the game fix, since that's how it's worked in the past. This has reportedly eliminated almost all the stuttering for NVidia cards.
I love Star Wars so I wanted to love this game, but it just didn't grab me. I liked the first one, but the sequel is the same game play with a less interesting story. It is visually beautiful, but not much more than that. To be fair, I stopped after the first three worlds, but I don't have any desire to go back and finish it. Honestly, I would say if you liked the first one, just replay it. [Reply]
The concepts are the same I guess, but once you fully unlock the new force abilities and lightsaber stances you can do some insane shit. Story is a bit silly even after knowing all the twists and turns, though. Although I will say the game does have a brutally slow first act. Once you go back to the third planet for the second time shit really starts to pick up. [Reply]
The Darth Vader fight and the final fight are the cheapest shit ever. They go to a cut scene and then come out of it and they are attacking you before your even get a chance to block it. But I finally powered through.
In the scene where you kill Rayvis, the game glitched out so it looked like Rayvis was phasing in and out of the Matrix. I had to watch the scene in YouTube to actually see what happened.
I also noticed that the sound mixing on Kata's voice is way off.
Not as good as the first game but by no means bad either.
