They’re long past the service time issue preventing KC from getting an extra year. That only requires you wait until you’re 16 days into the MLB season...

At this point, if Kowar were to come up and stay in MLB, it wouldn’t count as a full year. Only concern would be if he plays enough to qualify for arbitration after two more seasons (21 + 22 + 23). If he’s in the top 22 percent of time played amongst guys between 2 and 3 years of service time, he qualifies for arbitration.

In 2019, he had 48 HR's in 162 games. For the rest of his entire MLB career, he has 50 HR's in 401 games. I'm starting to think 2019 was a fluke.
