Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

No, i'm not. Just the opposite.
I think Fisher and Schwartz were both more mobile than Brown/Niang. They allowed Mahomes to run around without getting killed. Mahomes loves to roll out and create gaps in a defense. Kelce and Hill would react to Mahomes scrambling to find the holes in a defense, Mahomes was good at finding them.
It's totally different while staying in the pocket. Defenses stay in their zones, stay with their WRs. Even the throwing angles are different from within the pocket. [Reply]

I like Lil Zeus. I really do. I'm still not convinced, though, that he's an "elite" LT. If we could strike a more "top 10-15" type deal, I might consider it. Otherwise, enjoy the tag and let's do it all again in a year. [Reply]
90% of this board has no idea how to rate OL properly. This O-line has been damn good most of the season. Brown has been very good, but the fact that Mahomes will not consistently step up into a clean pocket makes his job so much more difficult.
This is the best line Mahomes has had. His IOL is probably top 3 in the league. He almost never has interior pressure. His tackles aren't getting beat and are doing there jobs but Mahomes just drifts back too far and that makes it impossible for the tackles to keep them off of Mahomes. We could have prime Willie Roaf and prime Mitchell Schwartz and the same thing would be happening. [Reply]

I'm pretty much right with you on this.
I'm not giving him a huge contract. The tag is perfect for a guy like this. Tag him and see where it goes. [Reply]

Agree with you. Would love to see him drop some weight, and work on his flexibility, as I think that would aid in his ability to succeed against speed guys. He could play at the 320-325 range, and still not lose his power/length. [Reply]
