Nzoner's Game Room>****Official Mizzou Football 2022-2023 Thread****

Here’s the Tigers’ full schedule:

Sept. 1: Louisiana Tech, 7PM W

Sept. 10: at Kansas State, 11:00AM

Sept. 17: Abilene Christian, 11:00AM

Sept. 24: at Auburn, time TBD

Oct. 1: Georgia, time TBD

Oct. 8: at Florida, time TBD

Oct. 15: Bye

Oct. 22: Vanderbilt, time TBD

Oct. 29: at South Carolina, time TBD

Nov. 5: Kentucky, time TBD

Nov. 12: at Tennessee, time TBD

Nov. 19: New Mexico State, time TBD

Nov. 25: Arkansas, 2:30 p.m.

I found the schedule, so I figured that now is as good of a time as any to start a new thread. Coach Drink has done well turning around the mess that Odom left behind. Solid recruiting has our best commit class in years coming in this year. The schedule isn't bad. A bowl game should be a given. I would like to see 9 -10 wins this year, with one of the wins coming against Arkansas. I really don't like losing to Odom.

Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz called it the best recruiting class ever for the Tigers.

Sure enough, Mizzou's current class is ranked No. 11 by ESPN, No. 14 by 247 Sports and No. 17 by Rivals, the highest in program history

Someone smarter than me let us know what to think of this. Anyone taking the weight off of Drink calling plays seems good in my book.

Is that Kellen Moore's brother?

My hopes are raised...hopefully the deal gets done. Get Drink's hands (mostly?) off the offense and QB situation.

Yes. IDK what I think yet just learning about him. Fresno's offense was pretty good this yr & he's the son of a coach. Apparently was a good recruiter relative to MW comp. Tedford's an offensive coach. He was under him & the guy at UW which appears to be a decent pedigree. He's very young, like 30yo.

That's a good hire. Tedford is good, and the pedigree is nice.

I wondered if Drinkwitz might have some trouble selling someone on the role, due to his seat being potentially warm, but this makes me think that was unnecessary worry.

That's a good move.

Professional scumbag Bobby Petrino is ditching Odom after about four minutes to be the OC at A&M.

Petrino was perfectly fine in Springfield. Didn't have any problems with him and he got along fine with the media and everyone really. He was the complete opposite of that asshat Dave Steckel, who was everything that people thought Petrino was. Yes, he left after 3 years but its a stepping stone job where you are suppose to leave or there is something wrong with you.

Everybody's managed to meet their girlfriends father without blurting out "Hey, your daughter sucks a great dick!"

Anyone can manage to avoid being a shitheel for a short period of time.

Couple of really nice transfer additions today - a speedy WR transfer from Ole Miss and Joe Moore, a legacy Mizzou guy who is a DE and was a top 75 player out of St. Louis before heading to ARizona State.
