This is usually the best weekend of football in the NFL.
Should be a lot of great games. The Chiefs are the last game but the first 3 games should be compelling too.
full disclosure: I didn't buy the Burrow hype when he came out. I saw a one season wonder surrounded by top flight talent and I just didn't buy it.
About mid-season his rookie year, I was curious and watched a whole game. I saw poise in the pocket, I saw a kid seeing the entire field, quick processing his reads, I saw elite ball placement and toughness, as his line was utter dogshit and I thought, man...I like this kid. I'd take that kid over any other young QB not named Mahomes.
This season, even more so-and coming back so quickly after that injury (he can't possibly be 100% yet.)
Yep, even over Allen, whom I still think is a one-read-and-go guy. If you take his first read, and don't let him run, he just falls apart. Easier said than done, it's true, but it can and has been done.
so I'm rooting for Cinci to clobber the Titans. I want Cinci in Arrowhead. I want the revenge game.
And then I want to clobber Rogers in the SB. [Reply]
Bungles are going down bigly. Then we get to watch which team the Titans beat this season that they'll get to beat again next wk.
Good luck chefs [Reply]
