no way we would have lost to the Titans. We got their best shot last year in the playoffs. [Reply]

Not sure how it gets done. Henry may be a decoy, he may look amazing, but irregardless the Titans are hosting one of you guys next wk. Good luck with the bills.

Chiefs are gonna put one on the Bills today. It's gonna be the biggest win in the divisional round. It's gonna scare the shit out of every other team with SB aspirations this year.
We're going to the SB fellas...just gotta get by the Bills...at home...with a full compliment of players...against a team who had the easiest schedule in the NFL and still couldn't manage to make the #2 seed...
I hadn't paid any attention to the Titans' offseason situation, but it will be interesting to watch:
1. Ryan Tannehill is owed $39 million next year and $36 million the year after that. They could cut him and trim his cap hit to $9.6 million each of the next two years, which would alleviate cap issues but leave them in the QB market with a lot of other teams. Tough spot. And do they REALLY want to kick the can on him? He's 34 already and if his mobility slips a little bit, he's even less valuable on the field...
2. Jeffrey Simmons and A.J. Brown are both entering the last year of their rookie deals. Logic would dictact at least one if not both would need an extension, which won't be cheap but can manipulated to be low-cost in 2022.
3. Oh, they're already OVER the cap and looking at not being able to resign Rashaan Evans or Harold Landry and also having to cut some solid veterans (Rodger Saffold, Zach Cunningham, Janoris Jenkins) to create manuevering room.
That sound you're hearing as you read this? That's all the windows of the "Titans could win it" house slamming shut. [Reply]
